If a Wi-Fi connection is lost to the application then forms can still be maintained with the following functions available:
- Adding new forms to the system.
- Updating forms added offline.
- Updating existing forms if they have previously been opened on-line.
The following form functions are not available whilst offline:
- Adding non conformances to a form.
- Attaching photos and files to a form.
- Confirming or approving a form.
If a form has been opened online then it will be cached and be available offline for two days before it becomes stale and required to be retrieved again. If the form is changed offline and is then synchronised to the database the cached version will also become stale and need to be retrieved again whilst online.
If a form is added or updated whilst the application is offline it will show in the list as follows:
When the application becomes online again all changed forms will automatically be synchronised.
