If you are a brand owner using a contract manufacturer then you can control your inventory by turning on contract manufacturing mode.
Turning on this feature will disable:
- Raw Material, packaging, and WIP products
- Suppliers
- Inwards Goods
Production batches will be re-configured to allow you to enter and record batches and quantities from your contract manufacturer. This will provide you with visibility into your stock at any point in time.
When good are dispatched you will have complete traceability of where you batches have gone so if you ever need to do a recall you will be able to with ease.
To switch on contract manufacturing mode perform the following steps:
- Go to Setup ---> Account Settings
- Under 'General' switch on 'Use Contract Manufacturing Mode (For Brand Owner)'
